Walkers and Talkers

Host: Sue White

This group walks, stopping for coffee halfway or at the end, usually on THIRD Sunday each month and sometimes joins local, organised walks.

This month's walk is not on the 3rd Sunday but on the FOURTH.  We are joining forces with Sally-Ann  to do a "Suffragette Walk" in London on Sunday 25th March.

Meet at Westcliff Station at 8:40am to catch the 8:50am train to Fenchurch Street

Walk as a group (or tube for those who prefer) to the Barbican to visit The Museum of London to see their Suffragette exhibition.

Lunch break

Arrange to meet up 2pm (or earlier - can be discussed on the day) outside the National Gallery, Trafalgar Square for a led walk (by SallyAnn - from a map & info I have run off) to retrace the footsteps of our bold lady marchers!!

You will be free to branch off and return home at whatever point you fancy.

SallyAnn says “Should be a fun and friendly day out x”

Jane is catching the same train at Southend Central Station and it departs at 8:48am

For bus/tube alternatives to walking please see  the website
